How they check
own system check: applicants must pass an in-app internet connection test before they can submit a profile; also points to speedtest.net and the Vonage/TokBox precall test
Source
From the company's own page: support.cambly.com, checked 2026-10-12
“These are our recommendations for minimum internet speeds: Download = 10Mbps Upload = 3Mbps”

Notes: Ethernet advised in troubleshooting, not required. CONFLICT: the same Technical Setup article also says 'minimum recommended speed, which is 3mbps download and 2mbps upload'. The ping of 60 comes from the sibling article 360043661852.

Do you meet it?

Run a 25-second test from where you will work, on the device you will use. You'll see a pass or fail against Cambly's published minimum, and get a permanent result link our server measured itself, with the city it ran in. You can send that link with your application instead of a screenshot.

Test against Cambly's minimum

Testing on WiFi when they require a cable? Plug in first: WiFi is usually slower and less steady, and some employers check how you are connected.
