Stop accepting speed-test screenshots.

Send applicants one link. See their verified speed and location, pass or fail against your requirements, before you hire.

  • Can't be faked.
Our server measures the connection itself. Editing the page can only lower the number.
  • Shows where it ran.
The device's city is checked against the network's. A VPN or a borrowed connection is flagged.
  • Nothing for anyone to install.
No account for you or your applicants. A test takes 25 seconds on a phone or laptop.

Create a free check link

Minimum download and upload; maximum latency, if it matters for the role.

No sign-up. You get a link for applicants and a private results page. With an email, we send you both once and nothing else. Free for up to 25 applicants a month (pricing).

Why screenshots don't work

They get edited

Changing the number on a speed-test page takes ten seconds in any browser, and the screenshot looks real.

Result links get faked too

Free tools online produce genuine-looking Speedtest result links with whatever numbers the applicant types in.

They don't say where

A good result from a café, a relative's house or another country tells you nothing about the connection they'll work on.

How it works

1

Set your minimum

Download, upload and, if you like, latency. It takes 30 seconds and there's no sign-up.

2

Put the link in your ad or form

Where you used to ask for a screenshot. Applicants see a page with your company name and your requirements.

3

Read pass or fail

Every applicant on one private page, every run kept, flags where something looks off.

What your applicants see

Internet check for the Customer support agent role

Northwind Support needs at least 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload. This 25-second test measures your connection from where you are now and sends them the result.

Fair to applicants

You never see exact locations

Only the city of the device and of the network, and whether they agree.

Names are deleted after 90 days

The measurements stay; who ran them doesn't. Applicants see exactly what you'll see before they start. Privacy

A re-run is always allowed

Every run is kept and shown to you, so a bad evening doesn't cost anyone a job.

Questions

Can an applicant cheat?

Not upwards. Our server times the data itself and publishes the lower of its own figure and the browser's, so tampering can only lower a result. They could test somewhere else, which is why the device's location is compared with the network's. How it works

What about mobile data or a VPN?

Both are flagged on your results page: mobile carriers by the provider, VPNs by the location mismatch.

Do you require a cable?

The applicant page tells applicants to test the way they'll work, plugged in if you require it, and shows you the connection type where the browser reports it.

What does it cost?

Free for up to 25 applicants a month, for good. Paid plans for higher volume are listed on the pricing page; none are charged yet.

What do applicants need?

A phone or computer with a current browser, on the connection they'll work on. No app, no account.
